Milling high quality, custom hardwood and softwood lumber is my passion and core business.

My focus when milling is on quality.  My years crafting furniture and cabinets gave me a unique eye for detail.  The mill is a well built, finely tuned machine that mills straight and dimensionally accurate lumber, over and over again.

Setup

It's a portable sawmill, and the setup at your site takes about an hour.  It's fully hydraulic, which allows us to mill efficiently.  My experience allows me to make decisions quickly to get you the most out of your timber resources.

Prior to my arrival, I'll consult with you over the phone and do a site visit to evaluate your timber and the mill site.  Proper setup, of the logs and the site, are key to a successful and efficient milling job.  I'll give you all the information you need to set up the site prior to my arrival so that we can hit the ground running and get right to milling.

Pricing

I charge both by the board foot and by the hour, depending on the specifics of each job.  Most of my jobs, though, are charged by the board foot because of their size.  Each job is different, so a proper evaluation of the site and the logs is required to give an accurate estimate.
